See what your photo reveals about you

Photo location & data checker — an EXIF viewer and remover that runs entirely in your browser.

See what your files reveal about you — and take it back. Every photo carries a hidden story: where you were, when you were there, what phone you own. This room shows you that story in plain words, then lets you remove it before you share the photo.

Your photo never leaves this device

There is no server to upload to. The checking and the cleaning happen right here, in your browser — so the one place your private data can't leak is the place you came to protect it.

Don't trust us. Prove it.

Load this page, turn on airplane mode, and check a photo. It still works — because nothing was ever being sent anywhere.

The picture is never touched

We remove the hidden information attached to the file. The photo itself — every pixel — stays exactly as it was.

Check a photo

Pick a photo from your phone or computer. We'll show you what it's quietly telling anyone you send it to — then you decide what leaves with it.

…or drag and drop it here

JPEG, PNG, and WebP photos can be checked and cleaned. You can choose several at once to clean a whole batch.

Cover a face or a license plate

Posting a photo of the kids, or selling a car? Paint over the parts that shouldn't travel with it — blur them, block them, or cover them completely.

A password nobody can guess

One tap makes a strong password — or four ordinary words strung together: easy to say, brutal to guess.

See what your document says about you

PDFs and Word files carry their own hidden story — your name, your computer's name, your edit history. The same see-it-then-clean-it check, for documents.

On the way

Check a file is what you were promised

Every file has a unique fingerprint. Drop a file in, compare its fingerprint with the one you were given, and know it hasn't been changed.

Why a photo knows so much

When your phone takes a picture, it writes a small diary entry into the same file: the exact GPS spot, the date and time, the phone model, and more. It's called EXIF data, and it was designed for photographers. The trouble is, it stays in the file when you share the original — so a photo posted to a marketplace, sent to a stranger, or uploaded to a forum can quietly include the map coordinates of your home.

Some apps strip this information for you. Many don't. The only way to know is to look — which is what this room is for.

Questions

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser, on your device. You can prove it: load this page, switch on airplane mode, and check a photo — it works exactly the same.

Will cleaning change how my photo looks?

No. The picture itself is never decoded, resized, or re-saved. We only remove the hidden information wrapped around it — including the small preview copy some cameras hide inside the file, which can show the original photo before it was cropped.

What kinds of photos work?

JPEG, PNG, and WebP can be checked and cleaned. Original iPhone HEIC files can be read on some browsers, but cleaning them isn't ready yet — if we ever can't clean a file completely, we'll tell you plainly instead of pretending. Photos that arrive through Messages, WhatsApp, or email are usually JPEG already.

What does it cost?

Nothing. No account, no sign-up, no daily limit. Your device does the work, so there's nothing for us to meter.
